Welcome to eddeAi! We're excited to have you use our AI-powered image generation platform. To ensure a safe, respectful, and legally compliant environment for all users, we've established the following content guidelines.

Our Commitment

At eddeAi, we're committed to fostering creativity while maintaining ethical standards and legal compliance. Our platform is designed to help you create amazing images through AI model training and generation, but we require that all content adheres to the standards outlined below.

Prohibited Content

When using eddeAi, you must not create, upload, share, or generate content that falls into any of the following categories:

Harmful or Offensive Content

• Hate Speech: Content that promotes hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Harassment: Content intended to threaten, intimidate, bully, or harass individuals
• Violence: Depictions of violence, cruelty, or harm to people or animals
• Self-Harm: Content promoting or depicting self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or other forms of self-destructive behavior

Inappropriate Sexual Content

• Explicit Material: Nudity, sexual acts, or sexually explicit content
• Adult Services: Content related to adult entertainment or sexual services

Illegal Activities

• Criminal Activity: Content depicting or promoting illegal activities such as drug use, theft, vandalism, or other criminal acts
• Fraud: Content designed to deceive, defraud, or mislead others

Misinformation and Deception

• False Information: Content that spreads false information, particularly regarding major geopolitical events, public health, or other critical matters
• Deepfakes: Creating misleading or deceptive content of public figures or individuals without consent

Prohibited AI-Generated Content

The following categories of AI-generated content are strictly prohibited on eddeAi and will result in immediate content removal and may result in account termination and, where appropriate, reporting to law enforcement:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualizes minors, including any attempt to generate, edit, age, or stylize an image to depict a minor in a sexual or suggestive context
• Non-consensual sexual or intimate imagery of any real person, including non-consensual deepfake pornography, "undressing", or sexualized depictions
• Voice or video impersonation of real individuals intended to defame, harass, defraud, scam, or otherwise deceive others
• Election or civic deception, including AI-generated images of candidates, officials, or election processes designed to mislead voters or undermine the integrity of elections
• Fraudulent identity documents (passports, driver's licences, IDs, certificates, etc.) or any AI-generated content designed to facilitate identity fraud
• Malicious code, malware, or attack tooling, or instructions designed to compromise systems, devices, or accounts
• Content that incites or facilitates real-world violence against any individual or group

Political Content

• Political Campaigning: Content designed to influence political processes, elections, or campaigns
• Political Figures: Creating images of politicians or political symbols for manipulative purposes

Health-Related Content

• Medical Claims: Content making unsubstantiated medical claims, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations
• Health Misinformation: Content that spreads false information about health conditions or treatments

Spam and Abuse

• Unsolicited Content: Bulk or automated content designed to spam or overwhelm the platform
• Platform Abuse: Any activity designed to abuse, exploit, or harm the eddeAi platform or its users

Transparency and Disclosure

AI-Generated Content Disclosure

When sharing content created with eddeAi, we strongly encourage you to:

• Clearly disclose that the content was generated using AI technology
• Be transparent about the use of AI-generated images in your work
• Avoid misleading others about the nature or origin of AI-generated content

Respect for Rights

Intellectual Property

• Only upload images for which you own the rights or have obtained explicit written permission
• Do not use copyrighted or trademarked material without proper authorization
• Respect the intellectual property rights of others

Privacy and Consent

• Do not upload images of individuals without their explicit consent
• Do not create images of people without their permission
• Respect the privacy rights of others

Face and Biometric Content

• You may upload photographs containing faces only when each identifiable subject has given you their informed consent to have their face used for AI model training and image generation on eddeAi
• Do not upload images of minors for the purpose of training a model that depicts the minor's likeness
• Do not use eddeAi to create or distribute non-consensual depictions of any real person, including but not limited to intimate, suggestive, defamatory, or harassing imagery
• Do not use the Services to attempt facial recognition, identity verification, or surveillance of real individuals
• eddeAi does not build a biometric identification database and does not use uploaded faces to identify individuals; see our Privacy Policy for a full description of how face data is handled

Public Figures

• Do not create images of public figures in ways that could be misleading, harmful, or violate their rights

Use of AI Processing Infrastructure

When you upload training images, submit a prompt, or request an image or video edit, your content is transmitted to AI processing infrastructure operated on our behalf in order to fulfil your request. By submitting content you confirm that the content complies with this Content Policy and that you have the rights necessary to have it processed in this way. The full details of how your content is processed, isolated, and protected are described in our Privacy Policy.

Global Compliance

While eddeAi is based in Ontario, Canada, our platform serves users worldwide. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of eddeAi complies with:

• All applicable laws in your jurisdiction
• Local content regulations and restrictions
• International laws that may apply to your content

Enforcement

We take violations of this Content Policy seriously. If you violate these guidelines, we may:

• Remove the offending content
• Suspend or terminate your account
• Report illegal activity to appropriate authorities
• Take any other action we deem necessary to protect our platform and users

Reporting AI-Generated Content and Other Violations

We rely on user reports to identify content that violates this Policy and to improve our automated and manual moderation. You can report any AI-generated output, training image, prompt, or other piece of content that you believe is offensive, harmful, or in breach of this Policy at any time.

How to report from inside the app

1. Open the content you want to report (for example, a generated image in History or the Gallery).
2. Tap the Report option in the more-actions menu on that piece of content.
3. Select a reason and, optionally, add a short description of the issue.
4. Submit. You will see a confirmation that the report has been received.

You can also report content at any time by emailing support@edde.ai with a link or screenshot, without leaving the app. We are progressively rolling out the in-app Report action to every surface that displays AI-generated content.

How to report by email

You can also email support@edde.ai with a link or screenshot of the content in question. We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action, which may include removing the content, suspending or terminating the responsible account, and reporting illegal content (including CSAM) to the appropriate authorities.

How we use reports

We use user reports to inform our content filters and moderation systems so that prohibited content is more reliably blocked before it is generated, and to identify patterns of abuse. Reports are treated confidentially, although in some cases we may need to disclose the report (without your identity where possible) to comply with law or protect others from harm.
